In order to complete the 11 campaign chapters, the player will have to master the specificities of the 6 first clans and tame the unforgiving wilderness of Northgard. Since the beginning of Northgard's colonization, several new clans have joined the battle, introducing new ways of playing and battling.

Proud of their legacy of astonishing achievements, they are renowned as mush for their honorable and regal manner as for their harsh justice and unyielding strength. Valuing wealth and fame, they are highly ambitious expansionists.

When it comes to surviving in dangerous conditions and building sturdy settlements, the Goat Clan has no rival.

Aggressive, protective of their freedom, and more than a little reckless. They are well prepared to face the dangers of Northgard and use their combined might and mobility to leave little chance to all but the most resilient.

PRIMARY CLAN
Great explorers and merchants, their mighty fleet allowed them to be the first to land on Northgard. They are strong trade partners if you don’t mind their constant scheming. Brash and swift, they will often be found roaming where you least expect them.

Stalwart protectors of the land, the Bjarki clan claims the most resilient warriors. Hailing from the northern reaches of the realm, they are also very well equipped to survive the harsh winters of Northgard.

A reclusive bunch forgotten by the other clans and recently rediscovered, the Boar Clan is both mystical and untamed. Their understanding of the world is unmatched, as are their boorish and primitive ways.

Cunning and deceitful, the Snake has little regard for fame or honour. Members of the clan prefer working in the shadows and using guerilla tactics rather than open warfare.

The most outlandish of all clans, the Dragons follow ancient customs and embrace freakish traditions. They use sacrifice and slavery to further their goals, often earning the other clans' distrust.

Led by Brok and Eitria, two spirited siblings, the Clan of the Horse are a quiet and sturdy people. They are also recognized by all as the best craftsmen and women of the known world.

Led by Andhrímnir, the Clan of the Squirrel knows better than most how to enjoy the present moment but not at the expense of being farsighted and expert at managing resources. Their talented cooks are able to produce delicious meals that improve the abilities of the clan and their allies.

Welcoming in wounded and outcast villagers who have been forced out of their original clans without hesitation or prejudice, it is understandable why the many followers of the Rat dedicate their life, and sometimes their death, to the clan.

THE CLAN OF THE EAGLE
ADDITIONAL CLAN
Carried by the winds, the agile explorers of Hraesvelg do not need to occupy a large territory, for they will readily venture outside to gather resources. Their profound knowledge of the terrain and their ability to exploit it to its fullest allow them to survive in the most desolate areas. They are led by Grif, the only survivor of an extinct clan.

INCLUDED IN CROSS OF VIDAR
Focused on their faith and military, the Kingdom of Neustria is one of the most important clans of the Southern Kingdoms. But as with the clans of Northgard, the Kingdom of Neustria seems to be similarly divided between alliances, betrayals and political agreements.

Independent and protective, the populations of Kernev occupy autonomous territories, but they will unite in battle under the command of their powerful Lords. Nominoe's knowledge of Viking cultures and diplomatic ways give the Kingdom the adaptability and allies to match any challenge.
